What to look for in any city walk.
Route and length
The example walk starts at the Kreuzblume in front of the cathedral and ends at the Alter Markt. It lasts about 2.5 hours.
Price
€219 for a group of up to 12 people. Each further person adds €15, and 25 is the maximum. This is a group price, not a price per person. A start from 18:30 adds €30.
Language
The walk is offered in German. Guiding in English adds €40 for each started hour.
Who it is for
It is a private tour. A single traveler cannot join another group on it. The walk is built around Kölsch, the local beer, as part of Cologne culture. Drinks and food are paid on top.

Rhine panorama cruise
The panorama cruise takes one hour and leaves from the Cologne old town landing, about five minutes on foot from the cathedral. The 2026 season runs from 28 March to 25 October, with up to six departures a day at 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, 15:00, 16:30 and 18:00. Not every trip runs every day, and the timetable for autumn and winter can differ, so check it before you go.

Announcements are in German and English. Food and drinks are ordered à la carte. The cruise does not include a visit to the cathedral.
